Sheba is my second purebred Akita.  Unlike my other, Sakari, she does not show any signs of the disease.  She is a chubby little PITA that is overly loveable and is a born mouse catcher.  Should would bark at the stove for the mice underneath, and then run them into the trap.   She also likes to overly aggresively play with the cats. 

I also call her a table because one of my favorite past times is setting down soda cans on her back and watching her walk around with random beverages level on her.  They surprisingly stay put.  What an alternative to fetch, aye?
